Jason graduated from a technical arts and design background in 1991, starting a career in the film and T.V industries as a freelance effects technician and modelmaker. Working for a number of companies based in and around London producing physical effects, rigs, models and props.
In 1994 was offered a full time position with Artem Limited as an effects technician having freelanced for them on various productions such as The Crystal Maze, Merlin, Hackers and numerous TV commercials and idents. In January 1995 was promoted to a designer/supervisor. Always hands on, the projects were extremely diverse involving many skills in various combinations and varied immensely in budget.
Working in the top end of the market provided exposure to an intense work rate utilising a large array of skills. Jason developed a reputation for attention to detail whilst supervising many well recognised commercials and during 1999 decided to leave to start Agog Special Effects.
